Our semi-finished aerospace metal products include round, square & hexagonal bars, tubes, profiled parts and extrusions, sheet and plate. We stock various materials.

Aluminum: We supply various grades of aluminium alloys in a variety of shapes and sizes, ideal for the manufaturing of engine components and parts of the airframe.

Grades: 2014, 2024,5052, 6061, 7050

We also stock special aluminium alloys such as 6063 and 7475.

Titanium: Our line of titanium alloys is part of the heat-resistant super alloys, ideal for airframe structural components and skin, aircraft hydraulic systems, air engine components, rockets, missiles, and spacecraft where these properties are essential.

Grades: titanium aluminide, Ti 5553

Stainless Steel: We supply stainless steel as sheet and plate, coil, rod, bar and tubing.

Grades: 301, 302, 304, 304L, 303S, 303Se, 310, 316, 316L, 321, 347, 410, 416

Supply Chain Management

At thyssenkrupp Materials UK, we understand that a robust, global supply chain is at the heart of the aerospace and defence industry. Therefore, we partner with our customers and are able to offer forecasting of materials and/or finished products, sub-contractor management, warehousing, kitting, labelling and packing for a just-in-time delivery. We work closely together to meet all strategic and financial goals of our customers.

Waterjet cutting

We have a dedicated waterjet cutting site in Darton, with capabilities of processing materials up to 5000mm in width and 6000mm in length. Our state-of-the-art technology has beneficial nesting capabilities which are ideal for the manufacturing of components for jet engines, turbine blades as well as composite materials for aircraft.

CNC Machining

CNC machining is all about precision. In all our machining processes, from intricate material cutting to surface grinding, we ensure pin-point dimensional and geometrical accuracy even for the hardest materials. Our end products exhibit the lowest intrinsic changes, improved geometrical qualities of flatness & parallelism and reduced tolerances.
